Why am I being asked to verify my new order?

 

We carefully evaluate new accounts to determine high risk orders. Please do not take it personally if you are asked to verify a new account, as this could be for simply entering some incorrect information.

If you are serious about hosting with BakoWeb.com, then please verify your account when asked to, so we can proceed to activate it.  Usually we will send you an email asking you to update some information, that we will check with our fraud prevention services to verify your identity.  We may call your phone number (so be sure it is correct) to a verify an account owners identity.  Our system may ask that you verify your phone number by calling you.  Other times we may request that you fax or email your ID, Drivers License, or Passport to verify who you are.

We do this to protect ourselves and other people from stolen ID, bank, PayPal or credit card accounts.

Warning:  You may be required to verify your phone number by our MaxMind fraud protection services.
