How long does it take to set up an account?

 

Your payment must clear and be checked for fraud before an account set is up for you.  Usually accounts are set up within a few minutes to a couple hours, but no more then 12 hours.   An email with your account information will be emailed out to you (please be sure your email is correctly entered in at the sign-up process). 

Accounts are set up from 9:00 am to Midnight.  If you order an account after Midnight, your account may not be set up until the next morning.

Domain Names: 

We can not set up an account for you if you do not enter a domain name to attach the account to. Even if you are not purchasing or transferring a domain name to our service, please be sure to enter your domain name in the box provided while setting up an account.

Domain names registered to our domain service should be available right away or within 24 hours.  Transfers depend on the registrar of your domain name, your website should be available within 72 hours, but no later then 10 days for transfers. The welcome email will explain how to access your account while you wait for your domain to propagate. 

 

Account Setup / Email & Phone Number on file 

We will setup your account after we have received payment and we and/or our payment partner(s) have screened the order(s) in case of fraud. It is your responsibility to provide us with an email address which is not @ the domain(s) you are signing up under. If there is ever an abuse issue or we need to contact you, the primary email address on file will be used for this purpose.

Please be sure your phone number on your account is correct, it is used by our fraud prevention team to verify your order. If your phone number is not correct, we will not set up the account. Please be sure to add the country code to the phone number, for instance; 1(555)555-5555 . The Country Code for USA is "1". 

It is your responsibility to ensure the email address and phone number on file is current or up to date at all times. If you have a domain name registered with BakoWeb, it is your responsibility to ensure that the contact information for your domain account and your actual domain name(s) is correct and up-to-date.

BakoWeb is not responsible for a lapsed registration due to outdated contact information being associated with the domain. If you need to verify or change this information, you should contact our sales team via Troubleticket. Providing false contact information of any kind may result in the termination of your account.

In high risk transactions, it will be necessary to provide government issued identification and possibly a scan of the credit card used for the purchase. If you fail to meet these requirements, the order may be considered fraudulent in nature and be denied.
