If your website uses a MySQL Database, then your going to want to keep it backed up so that you never loose it.  We recommend backing up your database at least once a day.

To Backup your MySQL Database:

-         Login to your sites Cpanel account

-         Scroll down to the ‘Files’ section header, and click ‘Backup’

-         Scroll down to ‘Download a MySQL Database Backup’ section

-         Click on the database’s name link, and choose where on your computer to save it.

-         All done

To Restore a MySQL Database:

-         Login to your sites Cpanel account

-         Scroll down to the ‘Files’ section header, and click ‘Backup’

-         Scroll down to ‘Download a MySQL Database Backup’ section, and on the right hand side there will be a field called ‘Restore a MySQL Database’, click the ‘Browse’ button and browse to the backup file on your computer, click it and click ‘Open’

-         Click the ‘Upload’ button

-         All Done
